Microsoft Data Center Cabling Upgrade

Cable Concepts recently completed a category 6 structured cabling upgrade for the Microsoft Data Center in Boydton, Virginia. The facility is expansive- with 24 planned buildings which will hold thousands of servers each; the facility employs over 120 engineers.
We provided Internet, data, voice and fiber optic cabling for these onsite engineers. We also created the fiber optic backbone that connects the building the engineers work in to the main server room.

We enjoyed working with the engineers at the data center and hope to work with them again soon.

Outstanding work on the behalf of the Cable Concepts techs!                                                                                                                BoydtonITPACs

Murphy’s Law

Early February we worked in Ashville for a week preparing a new Cooper Kenworth Truck Dealership to open. We were suppose to meet with their IT guys last friday to do the finishing touches. We returned to Asheville but unfortunately their IT guys were flying out of their corporate office in Kansas. The great Midwestern blizzard closed all airports in that part of the country so Murphy’s Law is in full effect.

Looking forward to going to Croasdaile Village in Durham next week. It’s a retirement home. I have been installing data, voice & fiber optic cable there for 4 years. I always have a good time talking with the residents. You’d be surprised how tech. savvy they are. It’s always an enjoyable day working/visiting Croasdaile.
